After looking around for a while for the best power wheels available for my 2 year old son, I went for the kawasaki KFX. Take note that as a Harley mechanic, I am very pickey. My son is only 2 year old, but the vehicle is easy enough for him now and for many years to come. The KFX has a slow and a faster speed: 2mph and 5mph. A foot pedal control the fastest speed in conjunction with the throttle twist. This is a good way to learn motorcycling. The slower speed is a security for the little ones or for learning how to handle the machine. This quad as no problem in the dirt and the slippery. A helmet although not needed, is a good idea to train your child for later in his life. A simple bicycle helmet will suffice. The quad comes in parts and needs to be assembled and tools are coming with the purchase. It is best to put the battery on the charge overnight for long lasting. ! This quad is awesome!!!!! I’m sure it will be pasted down to our next child when we decide to have one!
